Geospatial technology should be employed to reduce floods - Minister of Lands and Natural Resources

Accra, Aug. 27, GNA - The recent floods that took lives and property in parts of the country could have been better managed and it effects considerably reduced if the use of geospatial technology to foster early warning signs were employed. Minister of Land and Natural Resources, Collins Duada, said this in a speech read on his behalf at the 2009 Annual Land Surveyors Seminar in Accra.

TRIMBLE NAVIGATION DONATES TO DEPTARTMENT OF GEOMATIC ENGINEERING, KNUST

The Trimble Navigation from USA has donated equipment worth $128,431.54 to the department of Geomatic Engineering. The equipment includes 1 Trimble Robotic Total Station, 2 Trimble GPS Receivers, 1 Trimble Data logger, Survey Software and other accessories.
